1 Theories of the whole and the particulars as compared to the totality of G-d.
Trying to figure out Bruce Lee’s philosophy of the “whole”, of the “totality”, of the “absolute”, of “isness”, and of the “invisible spirit”, becomes a method or process that is ABSTRACT and which leads to fragmented truth, which seems to have been guided by the “Spirit of Truth”. In a particular field or event, it can be applied with beneficial results. But For a fuller comprehension and for a better mapped direction of the whole and of its relationship to the particulars, read Pauls understanding of G-d’s corporate relationship with his creation, especially man, in 1 Cor 12:4-27

To obtain enlightment in martial art means the extinction of everything which obscures the "true knowledge," the "real life." At the same time, it implies boundless expansion and, indeed, emphasis should fall not on the cultivation of the particular department which merges into the totality, but rather on the totality that enters and unites that particular department.
The way to transcend karma lies in the proper use of the mind and the will. The oneness of all life is a truth that can be fully realized only when false notions of a separate self, whose destiny can be considered apart from the whole, are forever annihilated.
The localization of the mind means its freezing. When it ceases to flow freely as it is needed, it is no more the mind in its suchness.
The "Immovable" is the concentration of energy at a given focus, as at the axis of a wheel, instead of dispersal in scattered activities.
"Artless art" is the artistic process within the artist; its meaning is "art of the sould." All the various moves of all the tools means a stp on the way to the absolute aesthetic world of the soul.
